Cycle World names SV1000s Best kept secret in motorcycling
Cycle World August '04 (pg. 46) has a pretty decent article about the SV1000s. They threw all the Suzuki accessories on one & tested it again. They really talked it up nicely, praising its "mile-wide powerband" & "user friendly" chassis... "quick and agile, but not the least bit twitchy - a very hard combination to come by."
Hopefully, it'll bring a few more sales to this forgotten about model.

It is ashamed that Suzuki seems to have tried to "play it safe" with the style. With some bolt-ons it doesn’t look to bad. But the naked version was just too bland.

Stealerships As far as the SV1000 is concerned, its so close to being awesome....I just wish Suzuki would pull the stops and build it the way it really should be. (Fully faired, USD fully adjustable forks, 120+/- RWHP, 80-90 lb/ft torque, radial brakes, blacked out frame, etc.......)

Road Racing World has a nice write up on the SVS in August as well. Suzuki must be making the rounds with the bike I guess.
