question about the tre

does an 08 sv650 have one? i saw some things on other forums about it having one. i havent noticed it like i did on the tlr. just wondering

Look at the wiring diagram or check the plug from the ger position sensor.

Measure the resistance for each gear and it'll give you an idea if one can be fitted or not.

i fitted a auto/switchable tre , steve you may know something about this, i cant tell if its working or not its a jsd thingy! Is that because its auto that revs dont change in neutral, even when switching off cant tell any difference! Maybe need to ride her more

You can check it with a voltmeter on the cable that runs to the ECU and look for the change between neutral and 1st or 2nd or any other gear.

i have a jsd switchable auto tre , could this be the reason why i dont know if its working or not, being auto ,seat of pants riding tells me nothing ? will try the voltmeter thingy , where do i check the resistance , at tre ....which cable again sorry

i have another tre , maybe i will just swap it with the garden variety type
