133bhp, The 'strom I rode felt about like a TL in terms of power up below 5k rpm. Above 5k rpm the TL handlly trounces the DL, though the DL isn't slow by any means, it just maintains a fairly smooth, strong pull where the TL feels like its got a bit of a spike in the power curve in the upper third of the rev range. Also the stock DL is geared really, really tall, so that might make it feel less exciting than it could be (though I compensated by simply shifing much later than I would on a TL).

As for buffeting, I find that truely naked bikes don't really have any buffeting. For me there's a big difference between buffeting and clean wind. A naked bike will have clean airflow, a bike with some sort of wind 'protection' will usually have buffeting (I've never ridden a fully faired bike that didn't bounce me around in its turblence).

Havent ridden a DL but have had an Intruder 1500 for a while and had buffeting problems which is typical of cruisers. To make a long story short tried all kinds of fairings and windshields and in the end if you dont have some kind of lowers on the wind comes around from the underneath and sides of the fairing and bangs you around. Specifically for a DL I dont have a solution but I would in investigate the comment by somebody on vortex generators on the side fairing that or some kind of chaps on crash bars lowers to fix the buffeting.
