Nope. I'd rather use that money on gas. These days, I just ride.

It's road grime. 400 miles in the rain without a bath will do that to you.

Not being funny but take the whole damn windscreen off.
I love the look and the air better.
Go on try it I dare you, you're going to get wet in the rain anyway
Still riding mine

Fantastic write up .
Always had a hankering for a DL...keep sitting on them in the local Suzuki dealer, but as per usual, no funds keeps getting in the way!

Nice report, glad to hear you're getting good smiles/mile out of your DL. I bought the yellow 650 V-Strom a little over a year ago. I really didn't have a problem with buffetting for the most part, though there were days where the windflow was rough. I decided to get the Cal-Sci windshield, tall version, before my trip from Houston to Chicago last month. Great product, I did not a lot smoother air behind that shield. I'm 6', 34 inseam.

Nice often wonder about those when I see them around. I rode a Tiger at Suzuka Twin Ring and while it was ok, I kept dragging my toes around corners.
... will those gauges work on a TL

good stuff! Nealry went the DL route myself. Whats the engine like, comared to a TL?
Regard sbuffeting, smilair problems, think its almost generic to above 70mph upright/nakeds type bikes IMO. But, I tried cutting up double bubbles, diferent shapes etc, all to no avail. COnclusion was, that small is better, even removing completely in summer months.
Upshot is that on my Versys, I went back to the small stocker, fliiped upside down, so wider at the top, out of all, seems the best.
