All I have to say is, its about fawkin time someone did this to an SV. Only a matter of time till a tiller is boosted now. It'll put an end to the neysayer's. Twins cant be turboed, or my favorite "each cylinder needs its own turbo" lol
Whos going to man up and do a tiller now ?

Turbo HD based twins are all over most drag strips and nothing new or unusual. I don't think anyone has seriously said you can't turbo a twin or that you need two turbos, only that its more complicated for less gain than doing the same to an I-4 so it makes less sense to turbo a twin (unless of course you are drag racing in a turbo twin class). Even turbo'd BMW opposed twins are not terribly uncommon. I've even seen a GS1100 turbo'd and making 140rwhp (which is about double stock).
I can't wait for the completion of a certain supercharged TL
I do wonder why mfg's aren't doing more supercharging in open class MC's. Its all the rage for PWC's and seems everyone now has a 250hp, 3 or 4 cyl, supercharged marine engine out. The PWC engines don't seem drastically different from open class MC engines. I think the V-max could especially have benefited from supercharging - they may have been able to use a smaller motor with less weight and still made more power. It would also be a bit more sensational I think, especially after the hype that never materialized over a factory-forced induction B-king...
