hey, its funny u bring this up because we did a trial dyno for mytl1000r turbo setup.. i didn"t use a boost controller yet wanted to see what kind of boost and pressure i had already i use a td03 off a s80 volvo... it boost is bam 4000 to 5000 u"ll looking 7lbs but 7 lbs on this turbo will not make enough pressure cfm wise to create any power due to the cams, so i will post the results next week with the boost controller on and its results.. my dyno guy said the same turn it, but like everything else u want safe and relieable so a little at a time one thing thoughright now 4000 range that torque is over 75lbs but untill its finish its runs out, so i'll keep tuning.....

so i may be right in thinking a larger turbo is needed for the lower pressure at higher rpm

look when it coms to turboing the tlr room is everything as far as a larger turbo not likly, u can look at my pictures and see i squeeze alot into it n now theres even more catch can,etc... were going to install a boost controller on mine tomorrow, right now the internal wastegate opens at 7lbs and that comes in early, so that torque comes in quick so will gonna bring it 4 lbs n see from there. right now my egt's are the same as stock, temp, same now my turbo has water lines, post later with recults, and just to add i also own 07 zx-10r with work done and right now from a roll they r even and was before the dnyo n we picked up 14 horse tuning but no and the torque. will see tomorrow how its dones.....

What did I say? Oh ok

Let's see, the Pajero Mini is 660cc with intercooler, which is a bit smaller than an A4 piece of paper and about 2-3 inches thick. There's a horde of 'kei-cars' here with turbos ... Suzuki Jimny (Samurai overseas?) and I'm sure there's some 1L cars with turbos. I could hit up my local mechanic/scrap merchant and get some bits off him ...?

Will it matter if the engine they're designed to go into only revs to a 7,000rpm redline?
