Looking at the industry mags at work, I see more competition in the Harley turbo marketplace, for both the V-rod and more traditional big twins. Prices are down to $850 list, compared to $5000 a few years back.

You'd need a pretty big plenum about the size of the airbox and you'd need a good intercooler to really keep it together.
One thing I like about a turbocharger rather than a supercharger is that turbo still gets decent gas mileage if you're not getting crazy with it, reclaiming that exhaust velocity has to be more efficient than driving a belt.

turbo charging a 650 would be cool and would give a nice increase to a nice little engine
turbo charging a tl would be downright scary me like downright scary
i think it comes from all the years of ragging two strokes around, pull back ,hold on and hope it doesnt go bang
anyway DRH what do you reckon on the t3 unit as a match for the tl's cfm intake ,its a nice little st2 unit with watercooling

The T3 is a dinosaur. An 11C, 13G or 13C by mitsubishi would be awesome if enough oil pressure and flow could be generated. Or the small IHI units off smaller Mazdas would work very well. The rotating mass on the garrett is so high that you could measure the lag in minutes.

cool now its getting somewhere
turbolag or 2 stroke powerband
anyway i was thinking more towards something with a bigger turbine blade as the tl has such a powerfull pulse a smaller turbine would pulse along with it
giving a horrible ride
with the heavier t3 the pulsing of the engine wouldnt effect it as much as the heavier turbine would act as a flywheel when up to speed and give smoother boost
not looking for massive boost 7psi would be appropriate the stock airbox could be used with the intake snorkels removed to give intake on one side and a place for a dump valve on the other just to make sure the pressure in the box doesnt get to high
thats what i was thinking
i could be way wrong but it seemed logical to me
