    TL 1000 R Top Speed ?

What's the top speed for a TL 1000 R ? I had mine 165mph, and ran out of the road. Any other speed freaks like me out there ever pushed it to the max ? Let me know.

i wanna say that the actual top speed of the tlr is going to be somewhere around 170mph. i have had mine to 165 indicated and still had some room to pull, but let off. i'm guessing i was closer to 150 though.

    Sheee-itt Robbie!
    Road or track?
I've only ever taken mine to about 215 kph on a freeway to the south of Sydney....I say 'about 215', because my eyes were pretty much glued to the road rather than the dials, but I know I didn't quite touch the 220 mark.....things are moving pretty fast even at that speed. Started to encounter some traffic so I backed off, but I was amazed that the Tiller still seemed to be pulling quite stongly at that speed!
270!......phew is all I can say!

275 kph/170,88 mph on the clock here too with stock gearing on a Belgian highway and again on the German Autobahn.

I remember back in the days official TLR publicity spoke of a topspeed of 285 kph/177 mph

By the way Robbie when I was following you home the other night I pulled up and let you go at 260kph
