    hydraulic clutch conversion

Just done this to my TLS

And I don't know what all the fuss is about!

    Its just as bloody heavy!

Although I do like the feel of it compared to the cable!

I just need to replace the res cap as its got an anodized red one and looks crap!

I quite like the hydraulic clutch on my tlr - i thought it was a bit stiff when i first got the bike, so greased the lever pivot bolt which improved it.

My TLR clutch is really light. As suggested, try and grease it up to ease it up.

If you get/fit one of Stu's adjustable clutch push-rods you get a constant "bite" point & the thing I like about the hyd' clutch conversion to my S is the fact that the feel stays constant...............it doesn't fade or get heavier. Cables for the S clutch need a lot of maintenance and in MHO need replacing frequently.

I mean come on..............a virtual right-angle at each end of a clutch cable?

Having had the displeasure of using a stock TLS clutch with barnett beef springs on a cable Its like trying to squeeze beech pebbles in your hand.

Surely the hydro must be giving you something better.
