Benelli 2ue 756 Shown Off at EICMA…Again

Stopping by the Benelli display at EICMA, we got our first chance to check out the rarely talked about Benelli 2ue. We first spotted the finalized version of the 2ue earlier this year without its fairings on, but for Milan the bike was fully dressed. While seemingly similar to last-year’s concept, Benelli left 2ue completely out of its press information. What few details we have on the 2ue 756 are after the jump, along with more photos of the 2ue up-close.
With it’s 756cc v-twin motor, the 2ue’s motor is basically the Tornado/TnT powerplant with one cylinder lopped off. As such, the 2ue is rumored to make around 90hp-100hp. The bike continues Benelli’s aggressive and eye-catching design, with our only real complaint being the nub of an exhaust nozzle.
With this being the third year that the 2ue concept has been shown-off at EICMA, with no production in sight, the bike is a constant reminder that not all is well at Varesse. Hopefully as Benelli gets the business side of its act together, we’ll see the 2ue here in the States with an opportunity to swing a leg over one.
Assuming the bike sees the actual roadway, pricing is expected to be in-line with the Kawasaki Z1000 and Aprilia Shiver.

That's a parallel twin, not a V-twin...
