This is the new bottom triple for my naked
It started life as a stock gixxer unit. the tag for the steering damper was removed, the triple dipped in caustic to remove the anodising and the casting marks removed by filing. I then cleaned up the worst of the scratches and file marks with a drill mounted sanding drum before passing it to a mate who does polishing.
Thi is what I got back. bloody awesome  .
So if anyone in oz wants an ultra shiny bike then PM me for his details . he's not cheap nor is he dear but man he's good!!

oggi knobs. anodised barends, polished and machined GSXR1000 top triple with Helibars, single 7' headlight. arrow cans, custom rear peg mounts, white power shock and spring centre mounted on R swing arm, painted frame, polished lower gsxr1000 triple,K7 gsxr1000 forks, hugger, undertail, clear tail light lens, PC 11 , modded airbox, K&N air filter, radial calipers, braided front lines, polished rims and black painted wheel spokes, fan override switch , TRE, tank bra, american high capacity battery, gsxr1000 front guard. tlr gauges, rifleman CCC ,van reservoirs,custom overflow bottle, ducati 999 curved radiator, conventional mirrors, machined and polished clutch pressure plate, welded clutch cam mechanism. stainless brake rotor bolts. ring-in stainless exhaust bolts with brass nuts.

He has an assortment of different bench grinder mounted mops. and scotchbrite mops and just works it thru different mops and grits till you see the results

seriosuly, just a bit of elbow grease then. I obviously lack patienec as found niggly bits really hard to get to same level of shine as easy bits!
but then just laquer to preserve shine right?
