Washed the FZ1 tonight and had it sitting out front of the house with the engine running. Julia heard it and came out. She asked if she could twist the throttle. She did a few timid throttle blips to, oh 4,000 rpm or so. I told her to give it a good quick flick. Vroom! The revs zipped up to 10K immediately. She was taken aback and awed. I asked her if she wanted to do it again. She said ya. Vrooom!

Julia now understands why her Daddy loves motorcycles. I am definitely leading the kid down the path

Oh. Check out our lunch. I had this thing strapped to my back. We had quite the buffet. Thanks for packing it Mrs. Duke!

One more trail shot

Nice pictures, great scenery. I picked up a 2001 XR80 for my 9 year old and 11 year old to learn to ride on, last weekend. They picked it up pretty easily, now to get them the right riding gear. And another couple of off road bikes so we can all head off together. A few pics of their 2 wheel debut:

It did not turn out though, the camera could not decide where to focus and it was jigglevision. Oh well. Had it turned out well, I would likely have screwed it into my visor for a budget helmet cam

i have a good quality helmet cam but i needed a quick use one with out cables ,battery packs etc.
so i bought this & very happy with it http://www.chinavasion.com/product_i...-camera-30fps/
