Excellent pics. You two are a couple of hams. You had me for a few seconds with the first of the "crash" shots.
P.S., be glad you didn't hit that friggin bear. A couple just hit one on their bike recently near here. It was pretty grisly (grizzly?). Sorry--probably no laughing matter, but I couldn't bear to keep it to myself. hahaha. Ok, I'm done.

"That's why it's unsafe! You know it's fast enough to kill ya, and it's slow enough to make you think it's safe!"

Sweet pics! How cool for you to have a girl to go on adventure rides like that with you.
I would feel awkward riding a Harley. The honky-tonk parking lot butt sniffing checking out each other's chrome encrusted doodads and then riding home half in the bag social scene they engender is not what my idea of riding motorcycles is about.

I lost count of how many bears we saw on the trip and it was actually really hard to get any good pictures. Most of them ran like hell as soon as we got close, even a grizzly. The girl is great. We stopped halfway in Morristown and partied like rockstars until she was the one that ended up dragging me by the feet back into the room. Hyder was talent show TV, a panfried porkchops and rice, an 18 of Rainier, a bottle of Everclear and belting out this about every 30 seconds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iz-WuLQz_ns and she loved it just as much as I did; I don't think it gets any better.
