So, we can sum up like this:

Front wheel, 3.5*17", Suzuki:
TLS, TLR, GSX-R 600 SRAD (97-00), GSX-R 750 SRAD (96-99), Hayabusa. Questionably GSX-1400

Rear wheel, 6*17", Suzuki:
TLS, TLR, GSX-R 750 SRAD (96-99). Fits also: GSX-R 1000 (GSX-R spacers and cush drive), Hayabusa (different rear rotor and probably spacers). Questionably GSX-1400.

Rear wheel, 5.5*17", Suzuki
GSX-R 600 SRAD (97-00). Fits with GSX-R cush drive and spacers: GSX-R 600 (01-03), GSX-R 750 (00-03)
(use a 180 tyre on these rims!!!)

Some sources claim that the 96-98 GSX-R 750 had a 5.5" rear wheel and only the 99 had the 6"

Greetings
Rufer

Just checked my microfiches and the Suzuki GSX-R750 T-V-W-X (1996-1999) all have 6" rear rims, only the colour changes between models.

The Suzuki GSX-R750 N-P-R-S (1992-1995) has a 5.5" Rear Rim
The Suzuki GSX-R750 Y-K1-K2 (2000-2002) has a 5.5" Rear Rim

to fit a front gsxr 1000 wheel onto a tlr u need to space the front axle sleeve (left side) out to 3",35 and it fits perfect

busa rear wheel goes on a tl with a 4mm spacer.. 100% fit

bua front goes straight onto a tlr but the rear has a smaller rotor

I put a set of marchesini hayabusa wheels on my TLR and had to take the stock spacer on the sprocket side and cut it just about in half and use it, it works mint

This is for reference only! One of my buddies just spent an obnoxious amount of money on his CBR 1000RR. He went from stock to Carbon wheels and carbon front rotors. The total weight savings between stock and carbon was 13 lbs for both wheel AND rotor combo. There is no way Suzuki shaved off the same weight between those years.

And don't forget the SV1000 has the same new-style diamond-spoke wheels as the newer GSXRs, and in the preferred lighter 5.5" size and a very very nice silver color, and then you know they're not as old either.

Bad english.... bad... sit boy.

A Busa rear wheel will bolt right up provided you use the left and right outter spacers from the TL. The hub and rim have the same part numbers (with a change for colors). The sprocket will work if you want a 40t 530. The rear rotor is larger on the busa.

The front Busa wheel is a direct swap.
