Any of the bikes with the 6 piston calipers also has the 5/8" master cylinder.

That seems to be the big question.

It wasn't a question, it was a statement. All bikes with the 6 piston calipers have the 5/8" master cylinder. I guess it's a package deal from the manufacturers.

I checked a few bikes out the other day, the busa, gixxer 1K's, R1's with 6 potters all had 5/8 MC's, an 03 GSXR750 with 4 potters had a 5/8 MC as well, and an old GSXR1100 ~94-96 had one as well for its 6 potters.

I had a set of Nissin six piston calipers off of a'97 ZX-7RR with a MC from a YZF 750. Didn't work worth a shit. I reinstalled the 4 piston Calipers with some race DP's with the stock MC and much better.

I might be missing something...
doesen't it work with the OEM M/C if you change to 6-pots?
For the TLS that is...
