CTD-you're up more for the day but not total. I actually got an advantage by starting late and missing the pummeling I would have received in the first 2 days.
Fully leveraged on Google = balls to the wall baby!

After Wednesday's pasting, I think Friday's market might give us a bit of dead cat bounce.
The damn interface at the VSE got me tangled up. Instead of selling American Express, I bought another thousand shares at the price I meant to sell at In real life it is amazing how instant trades are. No waiting a half hour for them to go through I am used to a quick twitch attention deficit broker site interface. This will take some getting used to.
Thank goodness a well timed day trade on the burrito boys at Chipotle bailed me out

Good market today, both virtually and in real life
Damn Google. It was up like 10 bucks in pre-market. I hate pre-market trading. Of course it wound up $16 overall today, another 6 bucks. Google is unstoppable it seems.
OK, I will also come clean. I tried to game the wacky VSE interface, using my real time ticker vs. their delayed figures to recognize a nice gap in Chipotle, which I promtly shorted the hell out of, with a cover buy at the lower current and accurate price. The VSE seems to execute trades whenever it damn well pleases though, and I got my virtual day trading ass handed to me when it did so at a much higher price. Cheaters never prosper, evidently I'll behave from now on

Anyone have any opinions on Scottrade?
I have been looking for an inexpensive in, and it seems to fit the bill.
I'd need to practice here a bit more, but I think I could get alot better.
Any suggestions?

I couldn't even watch the last 40 minutes, logged off the pc and went to run some errands.
I traded my ass off today trying to make up the losses from the previous 2 days of mistakes.
If I really knew what the hell I was doing this would be really fun.
