Does the simulated seem to run about 20 minutes behind the actual market?
Just curious!
Is it also normal to see stocks jump right before the end of the day?
This isn't so bad really...
I go out to pick up dog poo and the stocks I chose seem to approve! |

Oops. I seem to have two portfolios - all my trades were entered in the one outside the game. I wonder if there is a way to bring it into the game 
This is what happened to me today.
In real life I made $800 today gunslinging Mastercard in short term in/out trades as described in my "making money on the noise" thread. The overall portfolio lost money, so I netted up $177 after the Mastercard madness on this down day. Beats losing money. Gotta let the trades clear so my margin account cools down though before they send me a nastygram and cut me off.
Holy crap, I am glad I did not buy Abraxis Petroleum in real life (ABP). That one is a catching the falling knife syndome. That price is cheap though. Maybe time to put the leather gloves on.

I would feel awkward riding a Harley. The honky-tonk parking lot butt sniffing checking out each other's chrome encrusted doodads and then riding home half in the bag social scene they engender is not what my idea of riding motorcycles is about.
