    off to bike rally

Well, I'm off to the first Mainland Riders (club I belong to) bike rally this weekend in Murcheson, south island, NZ.
Its going to be at the Murch motor camp and anyone is welcome. No entry fee. It's just advertised by word of mouth so won't be a huge gathering. Apparantly there is a good band organised for saturday nite.
I've just built this frame to carry my tent and stretcher as I'm sick of trying to strap it onto the bike other ways and risk scratching the plastics with bungy cords.

nice one. Doubles as a magazine or toast rack while you're camping

hahaha, yeah.... a camp stretcher=BED. First time ive taken it away with me. I used to just sleep on a bed roll on the ground but I'm getting too wise and old for that

I never thought of useing it for a magazine rack while there I'm NO engineer but just made it out of what I had in the shed, to carry my gear. The sub frame was already on the bike but just no rack....and cant aford to buy a factory made one..... call it Kiwi ingenuity

The band was a bit scarey..."the Johnny's" debut.... 3 butch lesbians that only do Johnny Cash songs.
