If you had to choose an I4
Which one would you get (That you could actually afford) and why?
Havent owned one since forever and thinking about adding another horse to stable, curious of what the newer generation I4's are like. The newest that I have testridden is a GSXR1000K3 and while it was lighter and faster than my TL, I honestly think my TL is more fun to ride and to own. Are the newer ones that much better? Am I missing out? Your thoughts please....

I think I would go with a GSXR 600. We all know the 600's are plenty fast. I'm short 5'6". I am more comfortable sitting on the GSXR than the R6.

Why /
Because they do everything in comfort aparently.
Monster torque and up to 400 kms on a tank of fuel.
They are a lot smaller than i thought too.

I'll agree with you here... I don't know why but i like the gsx1400, seen some nice modded ones too..
But if not that, a GSX-R 750.. Small as a 600 but with a little more balls which makes for a fair compromise bbetween a 600 and a thou

I think it would be an FZ1 or B-king. Would also consider a new bandit 1250 for two-up touring. I do find I4's rather uninspiring. They make lots of power, at least at higher revs but sound whiny and lack the visceral feel of a v2 imho. I've not ridden a triple and wouldn't mind a go on something like the new Tiger or Benelli Tre-k.
