Fellow Americans Happy 4th of July!
In addition to celebrating our independence from those meanies across the pond  (you know I kid) this weekend typically kicks off the summer months with back yard cook-outs and our favorite cold beverage. So enjoy everybody and be safe.

Party at my house tomorrow. We have fireworks down at the park a short walk away. Friday is the night.  
And happy birthday USA. Don't forget our marines over in Afghanistan and everyone in Iraq. The fireworks over there are quite a bit more dangerous.

What a rip, the 4th falling on a Saturday this year 
Oh well. Stay safe and whatever you do, don't drink and drive. Aside from being a bad thing to do, the cops will get you. They are thick as flies around here, generating revenue in earnest.

I would feel awkward riding a Harley. The honky-tonk parking lot butt sniffing checking out each other's chrome encrusted doodads and then riding home half in the bag social scene they engender is not what my idea of riding motorcycles is about.
