i'd not bother with the tlr/wiseco option....it's a very small gain....use the JE pistons....better still...get +2mm oversize high cmp pistons....and set your squish.....

JE only make the pistons to order they do not stock them, minimum order is 4 so you will need to find somebody to share the order with.

I haven't been keeping up with you all, been away from the zone for a while now. Its the season to be riding and lost some of my garage knowledge. Just wondering what the pro and cons are with these JE or Wiseco +2 mm pistons? Will they work with the same rods? If you have to get 4 of them I may take 2 off your hands unless you want them all to yourself.

On a side note anyone know where you can find ceramic bearings at for the TLR? And are they better than the standard? This might be a winter mod. Thanks for the help and I'm not trying to steal the thread.

I wonder if Would the 2mm overbore actually make a lot of difference over the standard bore hi compression pistons? How much is JE charging for the 4 pistons ? Is it twice the amount of the Spears 2 piston deal?

with the oversize pistons you get much better cylinder filling as the valves are ummasked...giving much better torque...it also raises compression just by fitting them..if you set the squish to 1.00mm you'll get very high comp...

the only downside is engine life..... but that shouldn't really be an issue on 98 S and all tlr motors......
