Cool Swapping TLS Swingarm for TLR

Trying to fit a TLR Swingarm to a TLS. Can you give me some information on how to go about it. I've got the TLR Swingarm and brackets for the conversion. Just need some more information on it and some pictures or diagrams.

Depends on how you want to do it ! you can leave the shock mounts where they are and fit new shock to the middle (lot of work) or remove shock mounts from the s and fit them on the r.You will also need to grind a bit of the chassis off because it gets in the way.

I did this mod last winter.... You have to consider few things...

The mounting tabs for the rotary and SOAS are not on the same position. So you'll have to cut away the tabs and weld again on the proper place. I bought a swingarm wich has already mod for the TLS so in my case it was a straight forward conversion.

The TLS headers won't fit...so you have two posibilities.... Mod the TLS headers, make it longer on the rear header or fit a TLR headers (what I did)

If you fit a TLR headers two more problems appeart . The oil cooler doesn't fit cos the TLR fornt headpipe run the smae way as oil radiator. So you'll have to built a custom bracket and fit longer oil pipes.....Also the passenger pegs won't fit so you'll have to figure out some way to built pegs and cans brackets....

The rest is just a straight forward change..... Hera are some pics of my baby...
