It is very difficult to answer this question.I can only tell you to re-check everything. There are alot of small connectors that have to be pluged in and missing one will have some sort of effect.Once the battery is connected check feeds at the fuses inc the ign fuse on the fairing brace.I asume you have a fully charged battery ?

Main 30amp fuse in place on the starter solenoid? The plug is plugged into the starter solenoid? It's the main feed for the whole system.

Well i reckon you have the starter solenoid wired the wrong way around Cause thats exactly what i did and the bike was dead as a dodo,
took me 2 hours to swap the toasted loom (electrical fire) for a nice newer one, connected up batery turned on ignition - not a fucking squeek out of the bike - WTF - i stood looking at it for 5 minutes scratching my sore arse and then it dawned on me, the solenoid was wired up the wrong way around,i swapped the wires and hey presto, turn the key, pump on ... and a huge sigh of relief !!!
Let us know if you got sorted !!!!
P.S Great to see a fellow Country man in here - Welcome !!!

also... is your battery dead? I mean... if the loom was wired wrong, maybe it drained the battery and you have yet to re charge the battery and try again. How much voltage are you reading at the battery terminals?
