I don't know, it would probably take me the better part of a day, perhaps a whole weekend once I had the parts on hand. Perhaps the shop has a big backup. I know some of our local shops are booked solid for more than a month. What's wrong with your first gear anyway It seems odd that first would go out, it doesn't seem like it would ge much use unless your a stunter or something

That is what the mechanic told me, it is rare for a first gear to go out. He said it is the first he saw in 15 years of turning wrenches.
(bought it that way?)
They told me it was going to be ready the weekend after the forth, and now a week later it is still in the same place that it was two weeks ago. They haven't even dropped the motor back in yet. They keep on throwing small repairs in front of mine, when they should just go ahead and fix mine when they have all the parts in front of them. I have worked on commision before, so I know a little about how dealerships work, but when you tell a consumer thier bike is going to be ready two weeks ago, you should stick to your promise.

I broke down and toke mine to Shroud Honda, Suzuki. They are off Hwy 29 N. in Greensboro. If I was you, I wouldn't take it there. They kept my bike for 2 months and charged me $1,200. My final bill was $2,000 after I got trany and fuel injectors, and timming chains new! Try Motorcycle tires and accessories, The owner is Steve Simmons. He drages nitro burning harley, and knows his shit about V-twins. His shop is off of Elm st. Downtown!
