Water around cam journals
When I removed the cams due to valve shim replacement there was water coming out of the holes where the cam journal bolts go. On the front cylinder the journal was just a bit wet, but when I removed the rear cyl intake cam journal bolt it was like opening a can of beer: "Psssssh!" Clearly a release of pressure. The liqiuid was white foamish at first but then it got clear. I'm pretty sure its water and not coolant since it's not blue at all and does not smell like glycol. Could this bee some sort of condense? The garage heater was on and the temperature rose from ~5 C to ~15 C during the day.
Has anybody else experienced this?

I used to think it was a bit of humidity coming out of a sealed space but it's a mistery, only seems to be on bikes that have the caps removed for the first time. Maybe it's incredibly humid in Japan where they build the engines

Should I use some sort of threadlock on the journal holder bolts? The service manual doesn't mention it but it I thought I'd ask here anyway.

No certainly not, there's a chance it will squeeze onto the cam bearing surface and set
