I would look for binding on cables and or Vacum lines. You may have pinched a fuel tank vent line. the tank suction may be starving the motor of fuel. I'm going out on a limb there for that one. I'd much rather think your throttle mechanical linkage is moving something... or pinching something. You may also want to check your electrical harness connections... make sure they are clean and corrosion free. When putting them back together.. use some dielectric grease to keep the elements from creeping back in. My TB's on the TLS are far different than that of the TLR so hopfully another can chime in whose had the same issue.

Does it happen while you're riding or while in neutral?
The fast idle won't have anything to do with it. It uses the same linkage as the throttle, it just holds it open a bit when on.

it happened while i was riding, the only thing i couldve thought it was was the inline fuel filter i did since the fuel send hose is bigger than the stock hose.it did kinda act flooded when i would try to start it but it started after a pushed the button a couple of times.i thought it was the starter relay at first but none of the electrical died.what RPM should i be idling at?im a little over the thousand RPM mark right now.

Recommended idle speed is 1200 rpm. Try to determine if it's fuel starvation or ignition problems. Does it happen right away as soon as you open the throttle? As you turn the throttle check to see if it cuts-out at the same position every time. Also check if it's the same rpm every time. Do the check while riding and again while in neutral.

well the times it did happen i was on the throttle hard and in the high RPM range so i couldnt really say the exact revs but it was somewhere around 8 or more.i think i had it wide open, thats the only reason why i thought it flooded.

Maybe you hit the rev limiter.

well after thoroughly checking(took my seat off hahaha) i found out the problem was the tip over sensor.the brackets cheapass tack welds popped off and the sensor was bouncing around everywhere.thank god for family living close to where i got stranded.i think the bike will be dust before the welds go now
