Valve assy, 2nd?

What does part #1 do? on my bike, the hose numbered 6 has oil in it. is that ok?

That unit is the P.A.I.R valve which reduces hydrocarbons by injecting air into the exhaust when you are slowing down (high vacuum)

You can block the head ports and remove it without any problems.

ahh thats the pair valve i was planning to do that mod in a little but hadnt done the research yet to see were it is. cool thanks.
