re-build help
I'm in the process of rebuilding a '99 TLR. It was given to me as a basket case.
I'm ready to assemble the starter clutch and related components. However I seem to be missing a bushing. According to the manual there is one bushing on each end of the "Starter Limiting Assembly" (the assembly with 4 thin gears on it). I only have one. I would just buy a new one but the parts diagrams (online) don't show it. They only show 1 bushing, on the outside, that goes into the case cover.
Does anyone know if the inner and outer bushings are identical?

OK, I figured it out. The schematic I was looking at only showed 1 bushing, but paging down to the parts list tells you that 2 are required. Hey, I never claimed to be a rocket scientist.
Note to self- Righty tighty, Lefty loosey.
While were at it, does anyone have the recipe for toast?

Toast :
take 2 slices of bread from packet.
rummage thru workshop and locate heat gun last used to strip paint off handrailings.
suspend bread from vice using welding wire.
direct heat gun at bread till desired colour is achieved.
experiment with heat settings and distance from bread.
remember that due to the bread drying thru the reverse side of the bread will toast much faster.
Milk:
find field full of cows.
take appropriate bucket.
remember to warm hands first!!!
don't try to milk the bull!!
