New Parts collected today!! :)
Well i picked up all of my new parts today to rebuild the TLS engine and have it on the road again,, £600 later and i am almost there....
will be starting the rebuild on monday evening, as i have the fork seals to change on my GSX on sunday.
The new oil pump feels SOOOO much smoother than the old one too.
and the new gaskets look alot better quality than the ones i have removed,

well i have now got the GSX forks done,,,, and found out that at some point in its life it has had a front end impact, as both of the front forks are bent,, not alot,, but enough to notice as i was turning the tops off to get the springs out,,,, will sort them out later though, as i have been riding the bike for 2 years and havent noticed it,, so thats a job for next winter i think....
the workbench has been cleaned down and a fresh clean towel has been prepared for the rebuild too..
i have also got copper, black, and grey locktight gasket compound, several greases, WD40 buy the bucket load (for cleaning everything ) and a couple of tins of brake cleaner to make sure i have got ALL of the old crap out of even the smallest of holes in the engine,,,, i dont want ANYTHING getting in my new oil pump,,,,, (mmmmmm shiny )
i have put the crank back together today too and covered it in oil ready to go back in the cases tommorow night.
i am getting quite excited that i might get to ride the thing again soon,,, its been off the road for about a year now,, so i have been getting withdrawal symptoms
