Pulled the seal a mm away from being fully seated and no more leaks. Well atleast for the 2 miles i road it around. It wore a grove into the shaft so now it has some fresh material to seat/seal on.

Welcome but.. DUDE... your askin in the wrong place.. you have just "hijacked" this thread. The moderators here are nice/good. They wont flame you. However... you need to start a new thread stating what bike you have, What YOU HAVE checked-and what readings you got!!

water pump oil seal

my 98 tls, 30k on it, has started weeping a tiny amount of oil out the weep hole so i am about to do this fix

does anyone know the part no' for the oil seal that has been causing all these problems?
is it part #4 on the water pump page in ronayers?

also what sealant are you guys using on these seals?
