Sadly LMS is probably going to be right around finals for you BP. It's been held the last three years the first week of December. I don't know if the change of venue will bring a change of date though. Still nothing official on the change of venue but that's the very firm rumor.

Well, then you can hit it in Idaho in a few years when you graduate.

I've looked into it...the entire state is a ski/hike/camp/fish/hunt/ride park. And from what I have gathered environmentalist is a four letter word.

Sounds like my kind of place

When I was camping and riding in the little sahara dunes in UT I met a local pro named Ryan. Dude was probably certifiable, but could ride like few people can. I was running A class for a little bit then and feeling really good and he made me look like a total noob - was quite crazy though. Seemed to find that snowboard pants and MX boots and nothing else was proper gear for 300ft (no joke) launches off this huge dune and had no less than 8 bikini-clad, chicks with him (it was UT ya know..) anyway, he'd ridden all over the western half of the US and much of mexico and swore that the best dunes in north america were in ID.

I went up there on a trip for work last year. White water rafting trip. Flying in over the south the desert was awesome. Then I got a load of the mountains later that day. Very outdoors oriented state for sure. Boise is an awesome little town with all the perks of a big city. Fantastic bars with outdoor patios. I loved the place and could definately live there for sure.

ID is a probable retirement destination for me. I will have to do further research on it before then, preferably from the seat of a motorcycle. Crossed through ID way back when during the "get it out of your system" tour and loved it much.
