Wrap can be made to look neat, you can get black and use the stainless ties
Seems like LeoVince had a brain fart when they designed the heat shield as that unprotected bend is right next to your ankle and will destroy any waterproofs you wear or race boots when hung off on right handers
You could get somebody handy with the hammer to make a neat stainless guard and secure it on with a couple of exhaust clamps
How's the thumb now, are you getting the itch for more trackdays yet

You may be able to convince e-line to make you a guard from CF, they have been know to do custom parts (though sometimes require that you provide the bike or template for them to work from) or you could make a CF guard yourself I suppose
Jet-hot coating reduces pipe temp quite a lot, though it still might melt a tennis shoe

A Kourier has to establish space on the pavement. Predictable law-abiding behaviour lulls drivers. They mentally assign you to a little box in the lane, assume you will stay there, can't handle it when you leave that little box.
Y.T. is not fond of boxes. Y.T. establishes her space on the pavement by zagging mightily from lane to lane, establishing a precedent of scary randomness. Keeps people on their toes, makes them react to her, instead of the other way round.

It's coming along nicely. Not sure I'm going to be able to afford all this, though!
This might put me in the minority, but I kinda like the factory heat shield that goes over the midpipe. Would that put back too much weight? How much lighter is the X3?

Shoot, I might have to hammer out my own, didn't think of that Sam, well played sir.
Thumb is rapidly improving through careful protection. I wear Mr. Brace when I sleep, it kept feeling worse in the mornings, and since I have been wearing it at night, the thing is much better. I probably will hit the track in June or July, I promised my wife I would wait, and it is the smart thing to make sure it is fully healed prior to risking it. Plus I am just at the point I can do stoppies on the Husky.
Sam, the Husky vents directly out of the front of the tank, any suggestions on how to keep it from spooging on my pretty Ti header when I stoppie it? I was thinking aftermarket gas cap drilled and tapped for a vent, then vent it like a dirt bike with a check valve. I currently have a check valve in it, but it lets go. I may make up a line out of brake tubing so it can go between the pipes and not melt, but that might be more like a fuse than I would like

How about a TL Vacuum One Way Valve
On my SDR it goes in a similar route to the TL Clutch Cable and deposits under the engine.
You could route it the old fashioned way down the centre of the steering stem tube and dump it on your front tyre

Front tire may be the best option, I will post up what I decide. Thanks Sam.
