Thats a tough one. The 916/996/998 in my opinion is the best looking bike ever made. Reliability and maintenance are another thing though. If i saw the Duc in person id probably have to do it.

-thanks-
If my Tiller was "clean" I would most likely go for it!

There is a fella around the block with a 996, but it just stays outside under a cover and never goes anywhere. I would be putting a solid 2k on the clock each month!

It's a 4-valver, so tune ups, every 6K on the odo, will run $4-800, and take ALL DAY. Who wants to drop a bike off (or get a ride), or sit around all day at the shop waiting.
Not worth it. Time is far too valuable.....unless you sell it and buy 2 Tillers...

Good point, though there is a Ducati shop nearby I wouldn't want a third job to keep my baby purring!

The Duc is nice, but I love the TL.
Over here, people see a guy on a Duc and automatically asume he is some rich ass snob boy racer. (guilty)
When they see the TL, their faces confirm the reason behind me buying the bike... teen boys in cars give looks like its the first pair of tits they have ever seen.
