65mm brembo caliper adapters ebay
Just saw these on ebay for anyone looking to go the brembo caliper route. They say their for the hayabusa so should fit the TLS/TLR too.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ZRX-ZX7R-GSX1300R...%3A3|294%3A200
The shape "looks" like the original brembo adapters except the goove on the outside surface. They are from Taiwan so i have no idea on build quality etc. Good price tho, almost half the price of the original brembo adapters.

6061 IS HALF THE COST OF 7075, which should be used.

Hmmm looking at wiki, 6061 has about half the tensile strength of 7075 too. Its used in aircraft construction tho, more commonly homebuilt stuff rather then commercial/military applications like the 7075. Wheel spacers in auto industry made from 6061 as well.
As i said, its made in Taiwan so no idea on the quality etc Ive seen some dodgy looking custom brackets made for supermotards etc out of questionable alloy which people have had no issues with. TLs are alot heavier then tards tho.

You get what you pay for I guess... but not sure if 6061 would be up to the task when you're talking about brake mounts?
I remember my RC car days (1/8 onroad nitro racing, etc.) when car components were made from either 7075-T6 or 6061-T4 alu. Many components were made from 6061 and they were okay, but the stuff made from 7075-T6 alu (like main chassis plates) was so bloody hard it was amazing! (and a real bugger to machine or even file).

Always pay for the best available quality when it comes to brakes. There is no pricetag on life.
