My experience with the starter relay thing was that the wires themselves going into it were nuked - I replaced them as far back into the loom as I could without pulling the bike to bit - about 25cm. I rode the bike 3 times and every time I lost power, I just poked the wires till the bike ran

Re. the battery - do a search for that "battery" thread ... I got the Yuasa something something 14 something something and it's kick-ass. A little bigger so I had to rip out the back padding but a whole heap more CCA than the OE one ... and Japanese made

Yeah i know abut the Yuasa 14v battery, but it's $270 here...

I took the battery to the shop and they replaced it (again).. Installed it and she's roaring agin..

Guess now that it's running i can check a few things out in the charging system to see if anything is rooted..

Pushing the bike home - priceless my arse.. $200

Well after buying my nephew some $200 MX boots for his birthday, A new front stand, a Carbtune pro and also the $200 i paid for the lift home all in 1 week ... I'm kinda broke

The battery was replaced under warranty so it didn't cost me anything thing..

It'll give me a chance to chase the problem (if there is one, and it's not just the crappy battery ) then i'll go out and get it.
