No, not the charging mod. It's the new bypass the 30amp fuse in the starter solenoid mod. (I can't remember what thread he posted it up in or I'd grab it).
(I'd make one little change to it. Instead of running the new fuse tail to the battery post, I'd put it under the main supply post on the solenoid, so it's more compact and less wiring to run.)

Maybe excessive use of the starter overheats the plug.
What motor vehicle runs the main power off solenoid.
Easily fixed if it does go west.
The solenoid/relay then becomes a sole unit not a mickey mouse power take off. ?
I don't know about all bikes but some were said to !@#$ the R/R if the battery was disconnected while the engine was running, idling speed who knows.

Ok, so should i cut the red and red/white wires off the relay to join together going to the fuse...
Then the red wire going fromt the battery to the relay, where about on the relay does that connect??
Sorry, electrics aren't my thing.. I can do it when i understand it, but i need to understand it first

It's a dynomaster battery.. I think i might just bite the bullet and go for a Yuasa 14V battery.. I just don't wanna fork out $270 for it to die 3 months down the track if something else is the problem..

i just remember seeing a post here about a bigish name battery failing and when they took it back to the shop they found that the manufacturer had started to subb the manufacturing out to a chinese firm. they were failing right left and centre. but thats from memory and i havent got the best of memorys. but worth checking where your battery was manufactured. + if it has failed after 3 months then shouldnt the shop refund?... just a thought.
