OK I'm an idiot. What's the point of doing the patch? New tracks, bikes, retard assistance (since I suck I could really use that one)?

All the patch was for was....to allow you to play the game without having to use the CD.

That patch is crap, I downloaded it and got it to crack my system by clicking "crack it" and it ate my mgp2.exe file.
I posted earlier the fix to bring it back to normal again.

Gamespy!!!
If you think you are fast try racing any of the regulars at Gamespy. You should have installed this when you installed your motogp2 game. Just log on and pick a room then, try to keep up.
Also you can host your own Gamespy room using the Multiplayer feature in mgp2.
Alot of those guys are hella fast and, it gets downright embarassing sometimes at how proficient in the game they are.
When I'm on the brake setting up for a tight turn they are somehow giving it more gas and dissappearing into the distance - amazes me every time I see it

UPDATE ON THE NO-CD PATCH:

For MGP2 players that still use the CD to play and had problems with this patch I have found the answer.

The key is to do a "FULL INSTALL" when following the instructions for the patch.
I've successfully done it and it works like a charm now.

I had a custom install before and all it did was eat my motogp2.exe file and render my game useless.

Just remember: if you have to uninstall the game in order to do the Full Installation that you need to drag and drop the "Save" file onto your desktop so you can retain all your hard earned info. Then just drag and drop it back into the program file after you have done the full install.

Pm me for the No-CD patch for Moto GP3 URT
Hopefully this patch will eliminate the .exe problems that I've been having. Either way with this patch there is no more need for the CD to run the game which is sweet.
