Anyone played or play it?

I initally refused to buy it for my kid as it was extortion to try Halo3 beta.

So the price dropped and it was on his birthday list and I bought it. He's been playing it and keeps crapping on about stuff I don't understand because I've done nothing with the game except buy it.

This weekend 1st for the 3rd / 4t term break here and I didn't have him and had no social plans (except help Simon with his WideBandCommandr install) I thought I'd load it up so I could talk some smack with him during the holidays.

I got addicted! I'd get frustrated and shut the thing down and do something else and before I knew it, I was back shooting, rooting and electrocuting.

Anyway I've got more progress, gamer points and achievements than him that I'll talk smack to him this afternoon when I pick him up, and with any luck I'll kick his butt

For a game that I thought was only sold as a piggyback on the Halo craze it's not a bad game. Frustrating at times (i.e.how the emeny spaws), but you get used to that.

Anyone mastered all of it?

I picked it up for my new xbox, but haven't had a chance to play it yet. (I've been on holiday for the last week.) It's apparently very addicting collecting all the orbs, and I've heard nothing but good things about it, which is why I bought it.

Funny thing is that without the Halo beta invite included, many people might have missed this game. I remember when it first came out people were saying they were going to the store to buy thier Halo beta invite, and the Crackdown wrapper it came in..

My new addiction is Burnout Paradise... With cars it was great, but this last week they added a motorcycle option, for free! It's a blast.

and Burnout Paradise is amazing. I got hooked on Burnout 3 when it came out for the original xbox, and bought it for my PS2, put 65hrs into the game (yes it has a time played clock) in about 3 weeks first time I ever had blisters on my thumbs Burnout
