i know we all have our different stories and everything but the whole fucktardy and STFU thing and pretty much just bein a straight up A*SHOLE to everyone isnt necessary correct my mistakes give words of wisdom but sayin that you feel sorry for someone who's life just plain out sucks and every other negative comment is uncalled for i'm down for takin lumps and all but JESUS way to be a douche and for our french members a douche isnt so bad since it a just a shower but in english it is a chemical wash for vagina's and is a very bad thing so seriously i really dont care if i were to die tomorrow but i know i dont need to be takin anyone else out with me its not a fact that i want it but if it were to happen i've had a good run so chill for real and give me advice not put downs alright? we all take different paths in life and like all of you i'm learning and for someone arrogant enough to say they have nothing left to learn your A. full of shit and B. need to give me your bike so i can claim it as a gift before you proceed to jump off a really really tall structure. but to everyone who acknowledges that i'm learning and is still willing to give me constructive critiscism... thank you so much because i dont have a dad to point me in a good direction anymore and as you can all see im very willing to learn from mine and other peoples mistakes

Good to see you've got an open mind. Go get your books and start studying and get that license. And while your at it...make sure you stay away from Gandy Bridge on weekend nights.

Ah, so 46 in a 45 is equivalent to a felony pursuit? A traffic infraction of not using turn signals vs endagering lives in an attempted evasion are the same thing? we all do it eh? THAT is your logic? I ride all the fucking time, I've owned this bike since 1999 and I've SOMEHOW managed to never get a ticket on it, so don't tell me everyone rides like a dumbfuck. You may think the OP is taking too much shit, and has a great attitude, but when he blatently says he would rather risk his, and everyone else's life to save 1200 dollars it still smacks of selfishness and stupidity.

hey speaking of dumbfucks your the only one still being a cunt in this post
so seriously problem solved i'm getting my endorsement this week and i have no intention of using the shoulder anymore for my own personal business. and for the people that never learned the hard way piss off cause thats a load of bollocks. o and btw most mods are not street legal in florida any modification of turn signals, exhaust and just about everything else are completely illegal so when ya come down here lemme know and i'll just have the FHP fairy pay ya a visit so he can make his list and tell ya to come back in a week for a court date for all the violations. they might just be able to take that stick out of your ars when they decide to rape you cheers stop hating and be happy that i'm not one of those people who dont learn their lesson until its too late and that everyone is safe but god help you if you have children

yep, you clearly have a great attitude and are so willing to learn, except for the fact you still say you wish you would have run away.
You should realize that quite a lot of riders, like myself, neither fear nor worry about being a victim at the hands of police, so the only one that has a shot at playing the victim is you. All the modifications you listed are illegal in california as well, what exactly is your point? yea yea, I get it, I'm an asshole because i don't feel sorry for you. Life is hard, if you don't learn anything and continue to play the victim that's exactly what you'll be forever. apparently that would be horrible to teach a child eh? grow up junior.

I can see both sides of this issue. I've wadded a bike (the 98 TLR) up being a complete Ftard (100mph in a 45mph on a military base) and have since learned that notching it back some is still fun and much safer for yourself and others. I guess wsmc831 would have griped at me over the net too for my actions but whatever. Personally when I'm on the bike I ride like a little old lady when I'm in FL but when I'm in the car it's a different story. I feel that FHP has it in for people on crotchrockets due to the reputation that the 120mph, flipflop, shorts, and no helmet wearing squids have gained for the sport. Not having the endorsement has been beat to death but I'll point out some issues that I saw besides that. As for mods to turnsignals and other components. Modifications are legal (I agree that some of the requirements change a little from state to state) as long as they meet the Fed DOT requirements. Most aftermarket exhausts don't meet this and are stamped for off road use only but some of them are legal. Flushmounts are out for turnsignals due to spacing requirements, coloration, and size. Oh and BTW wsmc831 the OP wasn't the one who was advocating running to avoid the $1200 ticket/court costs that was amean94ta.

I too used to live in florida, i will throw my 2 cents in too.
If you say were in a car and saw this bike going in an emergency lane, shoulder, in between cars , popping wheelies, speeding, and Aggresive front stalker maneuver( yeah its real) or anything else it wasn't supposed to be doing. And if, by some stroke of magic you catch and write down his tag number. you can call the police and make a citzens arrest. which means you have to fill out a ticket with an officer and write your name on the citation stating that you witnessed the offence. If they plead not guilty then YOU will be summond to court to testify due to the fact the Officer did not technically see the infraction commited. So to answer your question yes it is possible. There is a statue of limitiations in reguards the the time frame but you can. if you really wanted to. |

Ive done the same thing where construction traffic had backed up the highway for 20 miles and i just cruised down the shoulder at 15-25mph, but i know its illegal and if i get caught by a cop doing it, im not going to run. You could probably talk your way out of it and if not a hundred or two dollar fine is better than felony conviction, bike impounding and so on.
Much worse i had a friend impale himself on a road sign by running from the cops and losing control. It just doesnt make any sense to run, its not worth the risk. |

there was a jam on I4 one day so I was riding the shoulder, but like 2 mph
a detective waved me down, I stopped and asked if he wanted to give me a ticket or wait for someone with a ticket book " Hell no, this isn't my jurisdiction, and I'm late as shit ! How far does this lane go?" got a police escort down the shoulder ![]()

I use to respect cops. I got my bike impounded while sitting at a red light. Let me just say this thing is bone stock. Turn signals, fender, even the exhaust is stock. THe guy was deusce bag, and I was a deusce bag right back. IMPOUNDED THE BIKE FOR NO MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT AS I WAVED MY LISCENCE IN HIS FACE. His reason for pulling me over was my flush turn signals. Ohh, I forgot, my flush stock DOT approved turn signals. The ones that came on every 96 ZX-6e. Now as far as i'm concerned the NYPD can go eat a 357 slug to the face. I haven't stopped since, nor will I ever. They wanna hate bikes, I'll flip em off, throw pennies at em as I go by, and do 170 mph fly bys every time I see em on the empty highways around me at night. I'm done with the NYPD's BS. The impounding was the straw that broke the camels back. I've never had a moving violation stick(and NYC is a no plea city, your guilty, or not guilty, no reductions), at fault accident or anything to this date. Everyone one of their BS things got thrown out, every time because I ride with a vid camera on me. FTP!!!! IF you got stuck up your ass the notion traffic laws are for safety, you've got the brain power of Terry Schiavo her last week of life.

Hopefully you will eat it while running and not be able to add to the gene pool. The Human race needs nothing from you.
