Unless you can get a friend to 'confess' to the cops that he was on that bike at that time and he was the on who ran - the ticket and felony convection for running will go to the registered owner of the vehicle. Since it's very likely the dash camera was on and that it caught the license plate convection will be inevitable.

Always, Always get a lawyer. Worse case they may knock it down to something reasonable. I once got hit with 2 tickets for the same violation within 20 mins. Apparently officers dont like wheelies on major interstates, not sure why since they are fun and entertaining for everyone. It wasnt looking good but my pricey lawyer got them combined and knocked down. Even my bike prayed and gave thanks that night lol!

And Florida just passed legislation that allows the state to confiscate the bike if the officer can get the tag number. They just let the bikes go and show up later on to the address that the plate was registered under and confiscate the bike.

so i guess the other question i have now is that were both in college and as it is a florida tag we are both way down south and our pernamnent address's are WAY up north like 5 hours away different county and all. college students dont have to change there permanent address while away at school and no ones mentioned anything to him about 5.0 knockin on his parents door, it puts a spin on it i guess. but his reasoning for doin it was that his bike was runnin hot in traffic at a dead stop for like 20 min so he just went? not fast just like 10 or 15 mph and we both dont have our motorcycle endorsement we just havent got around to it

That's just plain old FUCKTARDRY. Is your friend really that full of shit that it's pouring out his mouth?
How hard is it to get your endorsement? Is that the equivalent to a licence or is it because you in a different state to your issuing licence?

As a guy who got raped in florida really the best thing to do is run they are arseholes and your gonna loose your license or bike anyway so you might just want to move out before they catch you.

This aint like other states the law is so stiff that they really give people no reason to stop

If you have nothing to hide, you have no reason to run.
If you have a reason to run, you deserve to be raped

Sorry but I can't understand the mentality of running from them. If your caught out be a fucking man and take responsibility. I've been caught speeding in the past, but I didn't whinge like a bitch about how unfair it was nor did I decide to be a hero and run, possibly endagering my own life or that of anyone else.

cops have a job to do too...stopping fucktards is just one part of it.

So in Florida they just 'rape' innocent people then? Therefore, it's best just to put lives in danger and just run away?

Seriously, did think at ALL before typing that out, or did you just sit down and put down whatever fell out of that thing above your shoulders?

I can now see why they passed such tough 'anti fucktard' laws, they've got too many idiots to deal with.
