Man theres some nice roads in Carlisle and surronding there like in burnt furnace or tavern park and wagoneers gap. Went there with a group ride of FZ-6s. Had fun but one of the group crashed on wagoneers gap(Thank Richard simmons he was wearing gear ). Dislocated his shoulder, popped it in and rode back to west virginia with the front fairing held on with duct tape, zip ties and rope. I'll ride down to the gap. I live in NYC staten island to be more exact and think we should do a gap meet. No trailering of bikes allowed. But as previously stated i'll go anywhere in the country, including cali if its a big enough tiller meet.

I tried to do one last year. It coincided with the last Americade in Lake George, NY
It was rained out with no rescheduled date.

I will attempt the same this year.
Last day of Americade is on a Saturday.
Also on that same weekend, on Sunday I am planning to go OCC’s new shop & visit.

My plan is to either meet a bunch of TL’s on either a Saturday or Sunday
It will be up to the members to see which one it will be.

I just want to get to meet a bunch of TL’s fanatics like myself.

Last year I did one locally & were 3 TLS’s + 4 TLR’s

Don’t tell me we can not be at least 20 TL’s from the north east?

Also planning a Lake George trip, an OCC trip, Carlisle, and West Virginia.

Where in PA are you? I'm looking to do some distance riding this summer and I'd like to do the OCC thing.

hey addict,
i haven't posted in a while (i am down close to carlise/harrisburg area) the track in northern WV is called summit point about 2 hrs south west of Harrisburg (nice to tent but bathrooms/showers are a little sparce). that is where they race regional wera and ccs races. the closest town is Charlestown, WV. we rode down occasionally a back way thru gettysburg and antietam battlefields into harpers ferry nice ride weather permitting.
if your talking about the AMA races they are held at VIR (beautiful facility). as far south in Virginia as you can go about 6 hours or so south. been there a few times for NESBA days and AMA events. but to far for my ass on my tlr.

do post up when and where you are planning on attending. i am very ancy to ride this year since superbeast will be functional. cheers, dan

Less than three weeks and I'm off to Daytona!

We're planning to go all the way down to Key West and find the sign marking the southern terminus of U.S. RT.1
