North / South sounds good. I thought the North East is from DC north on the east coast? We should meet in NJ somewhere.

I voted east.

VA is fairly close (4 hours +) and it seems a leader in location for the east. Lots of good roads, riding season ranges from April/May to Nov/Dec (maybe longer depending on winter, ice, and how much gear the rider can put on).

I say NO to Daytona. It is cool if you've never been, but after the first time, it is more of the same. Drinking and debachery and meathead Harley-types looking at bikes and not riding. Just gets old. If I am at a bike meet, I wanna ride and BS at meal time and at night. Riding around Daytona sucks. The mountains are where it is at.

I know it's going to take alittle while to plan and to ride there but that's why I bought the bike. If I wanted to just ride local i'd have bought a Hardley As for weather other then snow or severe rain, I'll ride. I think we should plan for a weekend and a rain date. If it's well in advance you can plan better. Just my 2c

Ive been eyeballing a little hotel right outside of Boone, NC that looks like a great spot to get together. Right at the foot of a great road, and on the corner of several others. But im not planning, im still diassembling and rebuilding my bike.

OK. No Daytona but I do want this to finally happen. It would be cool to finally meet some of you and be at a meet where I am the only TL in attendance.
