As everyone else is mentioning it seems entirely too hard to please everyone. I'm all for doing a southern meet and possibly riding up in the spring to meet the northern riders. Everyone that i've ever spoken with has been great and helpful but as mentioned the east coast has a lot of territory and I couldn't see a "central" location being agreed upom. So go for it Nick W and try to start something up.

southern meet

Hey

justin thanks for the response.

If anyone from the south east would like to come up with some ideas of good meeting places, well than lets here them. I think that a spring meet would probably work out best. Of course a area that would have some good riding would be key. So charleston area is definitely out of the question! So lets here some ideas and distances that people would think be a reasonable distance to travel. Anyone know of some good towns in alabama, virginia, north carolina, tennesse any other places, where ever

lets here some ideas

Nicholas

I've talked to Ashraf on myspace about riding in Virginia. He's on here somewhere, we just need to find him. He didn't saw where they go but from what he described it seemed like it would be a worth while trip. Everyone is probably going to mention Deal's Gap and a friend told me about some nice roads in northern Georgia, i'll try to find out some more info. That's about all I can think of at the moment.

It is not that I am that greedy for meetings, but IF this Southeast meeting could happen towards the north, I am sure a few Northeastern rides would show up. I've been itching to ride to SC... or even Virginia...

But I understand this is a southern meeting so you guys vote the location. I dont want to interfere the democratic process...

Just dont forget to let the rest of the easterns know the location!

meet

Hey

I am glad that people are showing a interest. Some people would be willing to ride from the great north east, wow. I moved from vermont a couple of years ago and know the the distance it would be. So my hats is off to you riders. But if anyone is ever looking to head this way there are a couple of us in SC that would be more than willing to have a place and cold beers for ya.

lets keep the ideas coming

Nicholas

If you would like me to start another thread than that is fine. I will be sure to be more area specific. I simply did not realize that the previous post would have such a childish respone." I'm sorry Nic
I guess saying Your also wellcome to join us in NE is a childish response .

Yoooo Nick,

Hey buddy -been talking to beet for a while on here and I know he didn't mean it the way you took it. Under the quote he said you are welcome to join us. It is easy to take a post the wrong way. To expand on what he said we North East guys kinda took over this thread -just because there are so many of us in a small area.

Nick, SC is a great place -riding almost all year round and not too hot -great conditions down there. I would love to ride down maybe stop in on the way to FL...

Nick don't be mad at beet -he has a sore foot ...see:
