    Iso 99 tl1000r ecu (North Carolina)

    New to the site, but looking for an ecu for my tlr if anyone has one or can recommend let me know thanks!

    That's what I was told is needed,been chasing a no start issue for a while now so I caved and took it in. No spark c41 all connections look fine , not really mechanically savvy but done lots of reading and experimenting lol

    how do u know no spark?

    Stu,

    Believe it or not the R ecu (never seen any S) blow the transistor that controls the fuel pump. C41 is a pretty much a sure fire indication.

    I would know as I had it happen...

    But to your point, it will not prevent spark, just won't prime the fuel pump.

    The fix is either short to ground the orange wire to force the pump on. Instead of a three second prime then off, it'll simply run indefinitely. (And the bike will run just fine. )
    The true fix is a new ecu, since the ecu can no longer control the fuel pump...
    In a tip over, the pump normally is disengaged. In the first scenario, it'll keep blasting fuel out.

    Got ahold of one yesterday, fired right up. Thanks for the info guys
