Brown County Rally - Indiana
I thought I would put a feeler out guys to see what interest there would be in a TL Rally in Brown County Indiana. I can tell you that the roads are more than fantastic. If you like riding down near Deals Gap or Red River Gorge in KY, then this is very comparable. I was thinking of meeting on a Friday evening. We ride 300+ miles Saturday (trust me - no interstate riding here either 90% curves) and then have a few beers in the evening while talking about the days ride and the awesome TL.
I co-coordinate another Rally in Brown County already so the work has already been done. I have routes and motel options ($50 a night or if you desire a fancy getaway up to $150). I tend to ride mostly at this events so I just need reasonable accommodations. The place I usually use has parking right outside your door and is friendly with hanging outside in the evening.
Of course not only TL's are welcome - if you have friends or used to have a TL your more than welcome. I would like to organize this as a way for everyone to be able to meet up once a year and do some riding and have a great time. I don't see a ton of TL's riding around and this would be a great way to get a bunch of them together. All riding styles are welcome. We tend to break up into groups of 3-6 as to avoid putting on a parade.
This would likely be based out of Bedford IN, or Seymour IN depending on what the group would prefer. I do want to mention that I do not really super organize these events, we usually just name a place, a date, and people just show up and have fun. I think that establishing "an agenda" can take the fun out of the ride. Ride your own ride.
Hopefully we can get a group of us together this summer sometime for a weekend, perhaps maybe even in the fall.

This rally is famous on the GS forum. I'd encourage all who can make it to go! If I lived closer there would be no question.

The rally is one of the bigger yearly rallies that we have. Its a shame that not more TL riders would like to get together and do some meeting and greeting/riding. But alas, there are a few of us here showing interest. I will throw up some dates really soon.

Sorry, I'm working a second shift until the 3rd of July (next Friday). Can't make it this week. Either Saturday or Sunday is good or it will have to be the week after the 4th. I'm on days again for two weeks then flip back to second again for two weeks.
While the rest of the automotive market is tanking my group is being pounded with extra work.
