A Current Affair Video of Police Pursuit
I don't know if this ACA video is old news here but I could not believe the effort this policeman put in to chase down a supposedly speeding motorcyclist.
Its at bottom left of page 2 in the more videos section of "A Current Affair" on ninemsn.com.au |

QLD raised $1.25M in 3 months. Vic $200M in a year. Bit of a difference. I thought I read the budget forecast was also $300M not 200.

Man that driving is nuts....I did the Police driver training in Melbourne and NSW for and they sure dont teach to drive like a maniac like that, esp not overtaking onto the verge nearly on left side of the road

Watching the video, He followed no police procedure, just looked like some commodore hero being a knob, so i'm dubious of the video's authenticity. If it was indeed a copper i'd be appalled and gladly give the guy a mouthful when he pulled me up. Had a dog squad (hero) pull me up once, and try to be a standover man, I let him know how i felt about HIS traffic manouvres and he quickly let me off my 8km/h speeding ticket (observed only, anyway). Most Highway cops I have dealt with are genuinely good people (usually pertolheads themselves!) just going about keeping the roads safe. Unfortunately there's a few PIGS out there giving the majority a bad name....Kind of like motorcyclists I suppose...

Manual V8's are a thing of the past pretty much. they were phased out about 4 years ago, but every now & then one rears it head in the service. The other states I don't know about.
Now, not trying to defend that bloke for the way he drove, but, you guys know how most people don't see a motorbike, right.....yeah, agreed....well the same silly pricks dont hear sirens or see red & blue flashing lights either!!! It's still a media beat up. And Datrat, well, like all professions, there are cocks in each one. We have our fair share too. BELIEVE IT OR NOT......
