I've used it in various applications in the past, mostly due to track organizations requiring non glycol. Never noticed much of a difference in any streetbike. Many people have installed a manual fan switch, but it's much more common on TLR's than S's. I've seen up to 113 degrees external temp and never had the TL overheat, fans just come on a bit sooner.
