The SV650S (before the new ones) has a half fairing - but you can get lower fairings to complete the 'full' set.
The 'S' has clip-ons but the naked has bars.

I just converted our SV650S to a regular handlebar, much easier control for a newbie (& frankly more comfortable)





I think the SV is a great starter bike - covers a wide spectrum from novice to racer. Is controllable for a newbie but will have the longevity that will not be outgrown too quickly.

Just about everyone makes aftermarket exhaust for these - with a slip-on you actually cut off the old can (saw through the midpipe); there are quite a few full systems available also
Holeshot, Leo Vince & Akrapovic are some of the more popular choices.
Go to YouTube and search on SV650 exhaust - you'll turn up a ton of hits!!!
