Colorado Front range TL ride July

Calling all front range Colorado TL riders

July 19, 2008 (Saturday)
Ride Trail Ridge road, Berthod pass and Peak to Peak in one day.

Local boys (tri-city area), can meet up at Starbucks in Fort Collins on College & Laporte at 7:30 AM
Depart Ft. Collins @ 7:45, (5 munite rule applies)
We will ride CR38E to Masonville and south on cr27 to US34
US34 to Estes park and continue west into Rocky Mountain Park. Park passes for the weekend run 20.00 or season pass for 35.00.
US34 takes us up over trail ridge road and reaches a maximum elevation of 12,183 ft (3,713 m) and drops down into Grand Lake for snacks.
South on US34 from Grand Lake to US40 South.
US40 South to Winter PArk for lunch then South on US40 to I70
I70 eaast to Idaho Springs and north on Peak to Peak US279 (Oh My God Rd) to Black Hawk then North on US119 to Nederland for4 fuel and snacks.
Continue on US119 north to US72
US72 North back into Estes Park and back down US34 east into Loveland. From there we can all split up and go our seperate way. If some of you come up from the Denver area, you could split off at I70 back into Denver.
This will be a 300 mile day easy.

There's about 10 of us trying to get everyone together for a day run. If rain is going to be an issue, we will reschedule for the next day or the next weekend.
