When you're using a 520 conversion sprocket that's thinner you need a shoulder or washer on the front sprocket to maintain the stock thickness so the 20mm nut can clamp the outer shim (hardened and ground flat washer w/ 25mm through hole) against the sprocket correctly. AFAM may have provided you with a thicker washer that does away with the need for a shoulder on the front sprocket and does away with the stock outer shim entirely

They didn't supply the washer just noted that a 6mm washer is required for proper install...
